In the microbiology laboratory, there are Mycology, Bacteriology, Immunology-Serology and Virology Laboratories, and cultures of blood, cerebrospinal fluid, joint fluid, intra-abdominal aspiration, urine, wound, respiratory tract and stool samples can be made.

Painted and direct microscopic examinations of the samples are performed. With automated bacteria identification systems, the reproducing microorganism can be named and antibiotic susceptibility studies are carried out in the same system. Viral diseases such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Hepatitis A are diagnosed on the same day with our advanced technology devices. Serological tests for Toxoplasma, Rubella, Cytomegalovirus, Herpes virus are also carried out with the latest techniques. The safety of our tests is supported by internal and external quality control studies. Scrap samples are evaluated for fungus. Identification of yeast-like fungi growing samples can be made on the same day. Examinations regarding stool samples are carried out.
